      <image:caption>Dr. Megan Sones Clapton is a licensed professional counselor and the founder of Mindful Therapy in Ridgeland, Mississippi. A Jackson native, Dr. Clapton holds B.A.s in Philosophy and Art History from the College of Charleston, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Citadel, and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Mississippi College. For over 20 years, she has worked in hospitals, non-profits, schools, and private practice, in addition to being involved in many professional organizations, including the American Counseling Association, the Mississippi Counseling Association, the Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues in Counseling, and the Association for Humanistic Counseling. Dr. Clapton uses mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy to help her clients achieve their personal therapeutic goals. She believes in building client resiliency through the development of positive coping skills, increasing self-efficacy. In addition to individual therapy, Dr. Clapton enjoys hosting meditation and creativity retreats, art meditation workshops. Megan also does workplace consulting for universities and companies such as LuLuLemon, private law firms, the Mississippi Bar Association, and the Mississippi Arts Commission. Dr. Clapton holds national and state certifications for counseling. Mindful Therapy was named “Mississippi’s Best Mental Health Clinic” by the Clarion-Ledger.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Born and raised in Jackson MS, Dr. Anna Marsh Selby is a licensed professional counselor who works with teens, adults, and couples. Dr. Selby uses a collaborative, strength-based approach with individuals who are seeking meaningful change through the therapeutic process.  After receiving a B.A. from Millsaps College, Dr. Selby earned an M.S. in Education followed by an M.S. in Marriage and Family Counseling; both from Mississippi College. Dr. Selby continued her studies at Mississippi State University, where she earned her PhD in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018.       <image:caption>Andrew Williams is a national certified counselor (NCC). He believes in counseling as a way of empowering people to make positive changes and spark personal growth. Williams is trained in an integrative approach to cognitive behavioral therapy and specializes in working with men and boys. A Jackson native, Williams earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Film Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi and worked as a print journalist for years in the Hattiesburg area. Williams received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jackson State University and has worked with a diverse range of clients in university settings and integrated healthcare clinics. Williams is a member of the American Counseling Association and Mississippi Counseling Association.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Mary Herschel Thames is a licensed clinical social worker with a broad range of professional experience. At the University of Mississippi, Mary Herschel earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Tennessee. She is also a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist. Mary Herschel enjoys working with people of all ages dealing with topics such as anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, and sexuality exploration. She believes in using a cognitive behavioral approach to discover the strengths of each individual and how they can become stronger with positive behaviors. She has also worked to provide end-of-life care to patients in clinical settings and hospitals and served as a social worker with hospice services. As a grief counselor, Mary Herschel has worked closely with the McClean Fletcher Grief Center for many years, leading and facilitating adult and teen grief groups. Mary Herschel is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), American Society on Aging, UMMC MIND Center event committee, the Human Rights Campaign, and a sustaining member of the Junior League of Jackson.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dr. Mylroie is a licensed professional counselor who works with children and adolescents. She grew up in Tupelo, MS. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Millsaps College and her Masters and PhD from Mississippi State University in Counseling. While working as a school counselor, she pursued her LPC. She currently works for Lamar University as a Distance Clinical Professor and is the school counselor at St. Anthony Catholic School in Madison. Dr. Mylroie is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and is certified in Animal Assisted Therapy and Equine Assisted Therapy. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy and believes that using a growth mindset approach with children and adolescents will empower them to understand more about themselves and their core beliefs. Dr. Mylroie is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Creativity in Counseling, the American School Counselor Association, Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development, and the Association for Specialists in Group Work.</image:caption>
